Happy Presidents’ Day! Get 17.32% Off An Autopian Membership Today!

Presdaysale26 Top

For historical reasons, Presidents’ Day went from being about George Washington to being about George Washingtons. Since not everyone has to work today, car dealerships and mattress stores started offering deals. For understandable reasons, people like to test drive both cars and mattresses (though not at the same time). Test-driving The Autopian is rather easy, but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to offer a patriotic discount of 17.32%! Use code biggeorge on the membership page (or click here for Cloth Annual), and you’ll get 17.32% off any annual plan.

That’s $173.20 off a Rich Corinthian Leather plan! How do you beat that? That’s $8.66 off a Cloth Annual plan! As always, every plan comes with the ads going away, which is a pretty nice perk.

Why 17.32%? I live in New York, and people are losing their minds for the 250th anniversary of the United States, as measured from the Declaration of Independence forward. In recognition of the struggle, a bunch of tall dudes are dressing up like George Washington for various historical events, like the one I attended yesterday at Washington’s Newburgh HQ:

Sweet!

If you were curious, every plan comes with its perks. If you’re a Cloth Member, you get access to a Members-only newsletter, Members-only posts, a special room in the Discord, and a site with way fewer advertisements. Step up to Vinyl, Velour, or RCL, and you’ll also get stickers, shirts, and special goodies when you renew in addition to the ad-free experience.

Membership means a ton to us, as it’s more stable than advertising and allows us to focus more on the readers than trying to chase various ad units. With membership, you’re the customer and not the product, like with pretty much every other car website.

If you’re already a Member, thank you! Allow this post to be my Declaration of Dependence … on you. Remember, use code biggeorge and become a Member today!

Used this an opportunity to double down for some of that sweet sweet Velour action and was pleasantly surprised to see the coupon worked on the upgrade! You fine folks have been so much an enjoyable part of my day for about a decade now, it’s past due I move some funds from my Fordite-only diet to a proper cause

Send Jason back down to the Lane for another talk sometime, years ago now, but I enjoyed his talk about where all the fun cars went, and it was a good excuse to hang out with friends and likeminded nutters gearheads

How does one apply a coupon to renew their membership if it expires on the 18th? Do I have to wait for it to lapse then can apply the coupon?

I was also just wondering about this too, but mine expires on like the 28th.

Oh one last thing. Were we supposed to get pins last year? I got my orange and white shirts early in 2025 same with the bumper logo thingy but did not receive any pins. I love pins normally put them on my coats.

What does this mean? I can google it, but I feel like this should have been obvious, or is my American education letting me down? What happened in 1732?

I think it was when the hippopotamus that latter provided the ivory for Wasjningtons false teeth was captured.

Fix the comments sorting and landing at the end of reading an article and I’ll bump up a level. Or tell me and the many others who have upvoted requests to make this site’s comments work like nearly every other site that allows comments why you can’t. Most recent appeal for sanity in the comments section about you trying to tweak the ads.
