If you’d like to read this weird story about how Jason, Andrew Collins and I tried to “save” the spirit of Jalopnik via a fake “Editorial Board,” please consider becoming an Autopian member. Thank you!

I only ended up reading Jalopnik after I sold my Jetta TDI, bought a Honda and was weaning myself off of Fred’s TDI Club. Which was a great site when I had a TDI.

What you have created here is so far better than what Jalopnik was in 2017. I really don’t know about the time before that.

It’s a sad thing to go through when an amazing company/entity goes through a big change that makes it so much less amazing.

I worked somewhere incredible, family owned and ended up leaving for personal/life reasons and then it got absorbed by a corporation. And it’s sad to see what it’s become when I go back to visit family.
