Every Autopian writer has a bit of a character. We’re not faking anything, but our unique personalities lead to some quirks. Jason Torchinsky might be the most entertaining out of all of us because he will happily get mad about small inaccuracies about Volkswagens in the media. He also sometimes writes stories that are best described as hallucinations.
Jason wrote about all of the problems with the Volkswagen Beetle in the Wes Anderson flick ‘Moonrise Kingdom’. Maymar:
*1968 Plymouth used extremely prominently by a main character*
*crickets*
*1971 Beetle as background dressing*
Torch – “I’VE GOT A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH YOU PEOPLE AND NOW YOU’RE GOINNA HEAR ABOUT IT”
Eggsalad:
I once pointed out to my superiors that a certain bit of B-roll featuring the star allegedly arriving in Las Vegas in the 1980s, showed said star exiting a circa 1995 Town Car Limousine. Their response was that I was the only person who would notice that.
Flyingstitch:
There’s an episode of The Crown in which the queen visits a Kentucky horse farm, sometime in the ’60s, but she rides in what’s clearly a ’70s Caddy limo. Now I know where to report this infraction.
Max Headbolts:
I’m absolutely certain they did this intentionally, to troll Torch.
They know who you are, and they are playing to you directly!

Meanwhile, Brian wrote about how reducing lead exposure has been good for our health. Username Loading….:
Glad I don’t have all that lead in me, if it was I’m not sure where I would put all these microplastics.
Sid Bridge:
“The evidence, interestingly, was found by analyzing 100 years’ worth of human hair.”
How did they get to my shower drain without me seeing?
Have a great evening, everyone!

Regarding Torch’s VW obsession: has anyone analyzed the lead content of his hair?
Before or after the chainsaw incident?
All from leaky Changli batteries.
To be fair, they weren’t leaking before they were chainsawed.
