Watch out for Momma cat. You stole her home where she was raising her family. Momma cat becomes momma terminator. Listen and understand!
She can’t be bargained with.
She can’t be reasoned with.
She doesn’t feel remorse, or pity, or fear
And she absolutely will not stop
EVER
until you are dead

Of course you’re hitting people in the feels, Stephen. They’re kittens. They may as well be human babies, or puppies

I adore kittens and puppies, but I care less-than-nothing for babies and small humans.

Go figure.

I understand. I don’t really like people, but I live to help people. I’ll do whatever you need but please don’t talk to me.

Great, now I got Kiss on the brain

“Ooh so I hop in my car
It’s the local kitty bar
‘Cause thats my kind of situation
When I need some carburation”

Great kitties. The felines are cute too.

I’ll show myself out….

As someone with 6 cats, I’m with SWG. I thought I liked them, but not a day goes by where they aren’t a major pain in the butt.

I have 17 broken cars at the moment and was just laid-off from my job of 22 years.

Those cats scored a huge win for themselves by not having me as their caretaker!

Trying to understand how this happened: was one of the Saturn windows left open so the cats could go in and out? If so, how is the inside of the car not wet and moldy?

2 windows are stuck down and yes to both mold and moisture: Score!

Hey, cats are assholes. It’s basically their defining characeristic. I know this because I’ve had cats for more than 20 years. High of three, just one now.

My asshole cat wakes me at 4AM each morning to feed. I have a scratch post beside the bed – he digs in and I wake. He wants to go outside at dawn daily, but only if it is not raining or snowing. It is my fault if it is cold and wet. Whenever I unload the dishwasher he makes a point to come over and bitch about the noise.

I grew up with cats and I love me some kittens. But, they don’t stay that way for long.

I actually prefer elderly cats. I have two 18 year old cats that are the survivors of a litter of 8 cats. They are so happy to be alive that they finally after 18 years have mostly gotten over their hatred of each other.

They don’t know it but Tuesday they are moving from California to New York. That should be interesting

I know I’m going against the vibe in the comments, but I was most pleased to see…that it appears the OEM wheel covers are in the backseat.

Nice; if there’s one thing that makes steelies look better, it’s being shod with the original covers.

No wonder they hissed at you, look at how upset that cat looked as you were taking his favorite wheel away from him. Baby Delmar would be so sad…

Look at it this way:
If cats have been living in it, there’s a lot lower chance the wires have been chewed by mice, rats or squirrels. Or, as in my case, have had mice build a nest under the battery.

Shoot, now I think I’m gonna make my cat live in the car. (Just kidding, of course. He is a pampered boy and does not know how to be a predator. He would probably just join rodents in chewing the wires.)

You know, I thought the same about our cats, but they made short work of a mouse that got in the house earlier this year. I guess it’s more hard-wired in them than we think.

I am reviving a Jenson Healy that was in perfect concourse condition when it went into storage, now the floor pans have rusted out from soaking in rodent urine for 20 years.

I realize this is a funny post about kittens (who doesn’t love that?), but how did we just breeze past “…pretty sweet-looking Saturn…” Has anyone ever written such a phrase? If it weren’t for the kitten content, I might have to cancel my subscription.

Oh come on now, Rob.

That L200 is gorgeous in that dark metallic green – it makes my shitbox rescue-loving heart swell right up just looking at it.

Give me 3-4 weeks and check back here for the full story my man!

(Also, speaking of “subscriptions”, a sincere thank you and everyone else here for being a Member. We’d have no place to write these shitbox rescue stories if y’all weren’t helping to keep the lights on at this place)

Now you know why there weren’t any mice living in that Saturn.

You can’t name cats found in a Saturn after Chrysler products! Correct names are: Sky, Astra, SC2 and LW300

Can we substitute Aura or Vue for LW300?

Also respectfully request that SC2 is pronounced “skittoo”

I mean I guess if we have to, but that one was my favorite. Astra and Aura are too close though so it’ll definitely have to be Vue.

We definitely don’t have to do that; these are just suggestions

Also cats generally don’t respond when you call their names anyway so it might not matter 😀

I’d have gone with Aura, Vectra, Alero and Malibu to keep things on the same platform as that L-Series but yes still GM-themed.

Properly caring for animals is expensive. You did the right thing, SWG. I’m glad to hear the kittens ended up in a good home, and I hope the same fate is in store for the Caturn.

Good luck with the interior stink. Cat pee reeks.

I have 3 cats. They’re cool, but 3 cats is kind of a lot. 4… I don’t think I could deal with 4, lol.

That being said, those cats have excellent taste in automobiles.

My partner, an avowed cat-person, told me that she always wanted four cats when she was younger.

We had four cats for about a year and a half.

“Yeah…four cats…is a lot of cats”.

Three cats seems to be just enough cats.

Sometimes you forget the impacts of having so many living things going to the bathroom if your house. Until you know, you get a third cat.

Four cats is too many. Three cats is just right, especially when they’re about 3-5 years apart in age. That way, you typically only have one old/sick cat at a time, which is a lot of work.

I can attest to this. Three cats (and one dog) are enough. The step from one to two cats was easy, but you really notice a change when you bring home a third. Despite the fact this house is much bigger than our last one, they are still underfoot pretty much all of the time. They orbit us like a planetary system.

I’m eating dinner now and the dog wants to go outside, one cat is yowling to be let out of the bathroom we feed him in, and I know our other boy cat is upstairs sniffing the carpet near where I cleaned some tile. He likes the smell of bleach, you see. At least our female kitty is being chill, she’s knocked out in a box.

The first cat apparently hates all other cats and well… Yes we’ve made some mistakes lol.

They’re a pretty constant source of drama but at least they love people.
