I’ve always called Ford Ecosports ‘baby shoes’ as they have that same side profile as the shoes people buy for toddlers.

Show me a car that looks like 4-inch CFM* heels, and then we’re talking.

*come F me

Years ago I rented this yellow 1st generation Hyundai Veloster for a work trip. A co-worker pointed out that it looked like one of Mickey Mouse’s shoes. Couldn’t unsee it after that.

Regarding Antti idea… Now I’m imaging that car being driven by a woman with that shoe and that foot.

I was told by my boss that my Mk5 GTI looked like a shoe.

The Saab 900 always reminded me of mid rise chucks, anyone else?

I’m glad to see the BMW M Coupe was shown, because that was going to be my answer. I love the clownshoe, and if I were to ever buy one, I’m giving it a harlequin paint scheme. There would be so much clowning to do with such a car…

The idea of a non Golf or Polo being harlequin-ed seems like sacrilege to the VW-fanboi part of my brain, on which basis I’d say: Harlequin all the cars!

(Sometimes I notice when I’m being too purist about things and try and fight it)

My dad always used to say the Ferrari Mondial looked like a loafer.

And he was correct.

I was recently browsing for Pumas when I found they have a spikey black sneaker named “Mostro.” I’m keeping an eye out for them to go on sale, because the temptation to procure goth sneakers that share a name with one of my favorite Alfas is great, but not $120-great…

Puma and Ford could have done something fun, back in the 90s.

My mom always said her sister’s ’91 Mazda 323 hatchback looked like a roller skate. I’d put the third and fourth generation Civic wagons in that category, too.

Hmm, not a shoe, but now that I think about it the original Chrysler Sebring convertible has a bit of a Rainbow sandal look to it.

David, of course, made the most “cooling system engineer” possible comment.

Very respectfully, I believe the topshot is something of a missed opportunity.

Adidas makes an indoor soccer shoe called Samba, and some variants of the 1960s VW Type II buses are called Samba as well. 🙂

We used to refer toe the Geo Metro as the Baby Shoe. Especially fitting given the vibrant colors they came in.

You’re almost there. The most correct answer to this question is the Geo Metro Convertible.

Right? Same. She will sometimes say “Hey, there’s one of the goofy Crocs cars.”
