Hello everyone! I’m getting super excited about the 1rd Ever Lime Rock Track Day next week, which is going to have a totally bonkers mix of cars. It’s sold out for cars, but it’s not sold out for people, which means that you can still get a spectator pass. Today is the last day, though, as I have to very much let catering know how many sandwiches we want.
I should take a moment to talk about the sandwiches. For your spectator/lunch pass, you not only get to watch the festivities, hang out, and otherwise be a part of the community, you also get a sandwich. Specifically, we’re doing the “VIP Box” and that includes a cookie and chips, plus we’re shelling out the big bucks for water and soda. That’s right. We’re being fancy. Well, our version of fancy, there are actually way more involved dining options that probably won’t sit well with an autocross day.
I’ve had all of the sandwiches offered by Lime Rock, and so I’ve curated a fine selection: Mozz & Tomato for the non meat-eaters, a succulent Roast Turkey, and an Italian Combo sandwich that might honestly change your life. Plus, we’re doing goodie bags for everyone who shows up, whether they’re driving or not.
The window for that closes tonight so we can have catering ready. Here’s the link again:
Lunch/Spectator Ticket -$60
This ticket gets you access to Lime Rock Park, a lunch (sandwich, chips, drink, cookie) with the Autopian Staff, and a chance to laugh at Jason. If multiple people are sharing a car, just have one of you sign up for a car ticket, and the rest can get a spectator ticket. It’s the same price for any kind of member. What/Where Is This?

What: A reader meetup/autocross-style track day and lunch. If you don’t want to drive, you can totally just come have lunch and hang out. This isn’t about shaving 0.0001 off your time; this is just about driving spiritedly on a non-public road. Bring your minivan! It’s about fun, not fast.
Where: Lime Rock Park is located about two hours north of New York City where the borders of Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut meet. Inside the track is the FCP Euro Proving Grounds, a narrow and twisty autocross course that’s been recently reconditioned and features a large skidpad. The facility also has a chalet, which is where we’ll be meeting and having lunch at 12:00 PM.
The address is: Lime Rock Park, 60 White Hollow Rd, Lakeville, CT 06039.
Who: The Autopian Staff, you, some cool special guests like Parker and The Drive’s Andrew Collins.
When: June 30th from noon to 5 pm.
Why: Why not?
